I needed to wear contact lenses which made my eyes uncomfortable and dry. I also don't like wearing glasses all the time as it sometimes doesn't achieve the look I want.

I've had my Phakic Lens Implant for almost 3 years now and it was the best decision I made in my life. I used to wear glasses and most of the time, it was a nuisance to my lifestyle for I love the outdoors, play football, and like going to the beach.
With Phakic Lens Implants, I can snorkel without worrying about my glasses nor my contact lenses. I can go surfing with friends and see the waves without worry. I can play football better because I am no longer afraid that the ball might hit my glasses or my eyes with contact lenses.

I also got to do away with the cost of eyeglasses and contact lenses. Without worry, I engage in activities such as surfing, white water rafting,swimming,hiking, camping, snowboarding, wakeboarding, playing basketball, and rappelling. All of these activities won't be as enjoyable with eye glasses or contact lenses.
